Specialist development finance can be arranged for anything from an individual self-build project to multi-million pound developments.

 

There are few options on the high street for development finance and Dan Donaldson has contacts with several specialist lenders who understand a developer’s needs. Loans can be arranged as a percentage of the land and build costs or as a percentage of the gross development value.

 

It can be difficult for clients to prove income from development projects and Dan has access to lenders who are sympathetic towards this for investment projects. Those wanting a development loan for a main residence will need to meet the normal income rules.

 

Previous experience is essential for the larger projects. For smaller projects, an experienced project manager will be required and self-build mortgages can be arranged for clients with no experience.
